Gulfstream G500

The Gulfstream G500 and G600 (GVII) are twin-engine business jets designed and manufactured by Gulfstream Aerospace. The G500 will replace the G450, flying nearly 30 knots (56 km/h) faster and 18% farther with the same fuel burn. The larger G600 will succeed the G550.

THE ALL-NEW GULFSTREAM G500 - OPTIMIZED FOR STYLISH PERFORMANCE. Every aspect of the all-new Gulfstream G500’s design and performance is dedicated to the fastest flight possible, while in the cabin, every detail is devoted to providing a uniquely personalized and completely comfortable interior.
Gulfstream earned the best reputation in business aviation by consistently creating aircraft that meet traveler’s evolving aspirations.
With the G500, Gulfstream strikes an optimal balance of speed, maneuverability and comfort that helps passengers maximize every minute of their travel time.

THE G500 RANGE - SWIFTLY REACHING NEW DESTINATIONS.The all-new Gulfstream G500 stretches the limits of high-speed travel. The advanced airframe design and powerful Pratt & Whitney Canada engines give the aircraft a range of 5,200 nautical miles/9,630 kilometers at Mach 0.85. The G500’s nonstop reach connects distant cities such as Istanbul to Cape Town, South Africa; Los Angeles to London; and San Francisco to Tokyo.
The aircraft outdistances all peers above Mach 0.85 and is the only jet in its class to combine incredible speed with significant range—4,400 nautical miles/8,149 kilometers—when flying at Mach 0.90. The G500 blazes across the sky at a maximum Mach of 0.925.
Payload isn’t sacrificed for speed and range. A fully fueled G500 covers 5,200 nautical miles/9,630 kilometers at Mach 0.85 with eight passengers and luggage. Double the payload and the G500 still flies up to 4,950 nautical miles/9,167 kilometers nonstop, enough to fly from Los Angeles to London.

THE G500 CABIN - COMFORT AS YOU LIKE IT. f sublime comfort can be accommodated in an aircraft built for stunning speed, that is the creation of a truly optimized aircraft.
With a width of 7 feet 11 inches/2.41 meters and a height of 6 feet 4 inches/1.93 meters, the all-new Gulfstream G500 cabin is the optimal size and shape to help produce best-in-class speed, maneuverability and fuel efficiency, yet it’s still large enough to carry 19 passengers.
The aircraft’s uniquely shaped cross-section translates to plentiful elbow and shoulder room for seated passengers while also offering plenty of headroom as passengers move about the cabin. The 27-inch-/68.5-centimeter-wide seats include an articulating footrest for comfortable reclining. Pedestal-mounted conference tables provide stability for working and are height adjustable. High-speed communications and entertainment equipment allow the cabin to double as an office in the sky or a media room.
Gulfstream is the only aircraft manufacturer in the G500’s class to offer the option of a forward or aft galley.
With an interior cabin length of 41 feet 6 inches/12.65 meters, the G500 offers exceptional space for an owner to design and arrange multiple areas for work, relaxation or entertainment to his or her liking.

RELAXED EN ROUTE, REFRESHED ON ARRIVAL - The cabin environment influences the travel experience while airborne and upon arrival. The all-new G500’s 14 large Gulfstream panoramic windows provide captivating views and bathe the cabin in natural light. Only 100 percent fresh air, replenished every two minutes, fills the cabin.
Gulfstream acousticians engineered the interior to be quiet enough for passengers to converse in normal tones even while in flight. The interior is pressurized to no more than 4,850 feet/1,478 meters, even at a maximum altitude of 51,000 feet/15,545 meters. The combination of clean, replenished air and a low interior altitude helps reduce the effects of jet lag so that passengers arrive feeling more refreshed and alert.

ATTENTION TO DETAIL - he G500 helps passengers achieve true cabin bliss through attention to detail and personalized styling.
Choose from the finest materials, such as handmade carpets of silk or cashmere, hand-stitched leather dyed to any color found in nature, and wood veneers sourced from around the world. Complete the look with fine porcelain, flatware and crystal stemware that sets an elegant tone. Gulfstream design teams will assist throughout the new cabin design process.
Plan to pack liberally, too. The G500’s best-in-class baggage volume includes fold-down shelving and space that can be individually configured to store golf clubs, ski gear or bulging suitcases. Each cabin seat is equipped with built-in storage as well.
With the Gulfstream Cabin Management System, the cabin experience is further enhanced because passengers control lighting, window shades, temperature and entertainment with touch-screen devices from their seats.

THE G500 FLIGHT DECK - IMMERSIVE INTELLIGENT INTEGRATION. A next-generation Enhanced Vision System heightens pilot awareness in low visibility. An improved infrared sensor boosts resolution by 400 percent, and camera advancements provide a wider field of view. The EVS is linked to a head-up display, allowing the pilot to view images on a transparent screen positioned in his or her field of vision. Gulfstream is the first business aviation company to offer this third-generation EVS, and it comes as standard equipment on the G500.
Flight deck styling is also re-envisioned in the G500. A blend of leather, brushed nickel and glass produces a flight deck as attractive and comfortable as it is intuitive. The crew seats pan fully from side to side for ease of movement and are made from perforated leather with a ventilated mesh for greater comfort.
Advanced Systems Integration. Gulfstream also takes the inner workings of the G500 to new levels of sophistication, creating computer-controlled systems that further enhance efficiency and safety.
The highly redundant Intelligence-by-Wire™ takes fly-by-wire technology to the next level. Intelligence-by-Wire incorporates flight controls, autopilot, autothrottle and autobraking for smoother flight and peak engine performance.
The G500 is also the first business aircraft manufactured with a Data Concentration Network. The DCN advanced network infrastructure lines the airframe with technology that significantly reduces cables and parts.
